UPDATE: Ventura Police locate missing 12-year-old

VENTURA, Calif. - The Ventura Police Department located a 12-year-old girl after she went missing.

Police said Rita McDad was found safe around 7:20 a.m. on Sunday.

The department would like to thank the community for its help and support with this incident.
