Resurfacing project to close Highway 246 in Lompoc next week

LOMPOC, Calif. -- A portion of State Route 246 from Highway 1 (H street) to Mission Gate road will be closed Tuesday Oct. 6 through Friday Oc. 9.

Cal Trans says a full closure of the highway will take place from 7 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Drivers going west may detour onto Purisima Road to reach Lompoc while driver traveling east towards Buellton may detour onto Hwy. 1 “H” Street to Purisima Road.

Electronic message boards will be activated to inform the public about this roadwork.
