3 treated for minor injuries after school buses, van collide near Santa Paula

SANTA PAULA, Calif. - The Ventura County Fire Department responded to a crash involving two school buses and a van Tuesday afternoon.
The buses, which are used for students with special needs, and a van collided around 2:30 p.m. near West Telegraph and Cummings roads in Santa Paula.
A small fire started in one of the buses right after the crash.
Each bus had one student on board and both were taken to the hospital. A third person was also taken to the hospital. All injuries were considered minor.
Police are still investigating the cause of the crash.
