Mission Rose Garden in Full Bloom

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – Now is a good time to stop and smell the roses.

The roses at the Mission Rose Garden in Santa Barbara are in full bloom. The garden, across the street from the Old Mission Santa Barbara, has dozens of rose varieties.

Visitors can walk through the garden or have a picnic on the lawn.

Some of the roses are named after famous people including Barbra Streisand.
