Aliso School was also on lockdown due to the nearby situation, but that lockdown is now lifted.
Heavy law enforcement presence including police and the sheriff's SWAT team members could be seen in the area.
At around 10 a.m. the shelter-in-place order was lifted and the scene was being cleared.
According to the Santa Barbara Police Department, warrants were served at three separate locations along the South Coast as part of an investigation into a January shooting that left two men dead. Three Carpinteria men were arrested earlier this week as part of that investigation.
