UPDATE: Lompoc police locate missing dependent woman

Ruby Robinson, 77, is a dependent adult who went missing Friday evening in Lompoc.

UPDATE: Around 6:20 p.m., the Lompoc Police Department announced that missing person Ruby Robinson was located and taken safely home to her family.

Lompoc police would like to thank the community for contacting them after finding Robinson.

LOMPOC, Calif. - The Lompoc Police Department reported that a 77-year-old dependent woman is missing as of Saturday evening.

Ruby Robinson was last seen around 2 p.m. on Saturday walking away from her home near the intersection of Ocean Avenue and 5th Street. She was last seen walking west toward the ocean.

Robinson is a black woman about 5' 10" and weighing 170 pounds. She has brown eyes and grey hair. Robinson is believed to be wearing a black baseball hat and black clothing.

Ruby is in the early stages of Dementia and is not able to take care of herself completely.
