Lawyers representing Conception disaster victims to hold joint news conference on Monday
LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Leading maritime-disaster trial lawyers from Saltz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett & Bendesky, P.C., (SMBB) of Philadelphia and Panish Shea & Boyle LLP of Los Angeles will hold a joint news conference on Monday, Jan. 13, to disclose the status of their investigation of the Conception boat disaster that occurred in Santa Barbara.
The 2019 MV Conception dive-boat fire killed 33 passengers and one crew member on Labor Day.
The news conference will be held on Jan. 13 at 10 a.m. in Panish Shea & Boyle LLP located at 11111 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 700 in Los Angeles.
Robert J. Mongeluzzi, Founder of SBMM, Jeffrey P. Goodman, SBMM Partner and Robert Glassman, Attorney for Panish Shea & Boyle LLP will be in attendance.
Robert J. Mongeluzzi of SMBB previously criticized Truth Aquatics, Inc., for engaging in a “cruel and heartless ploy” when just a few days after the tragedy – and before all the bodies had been recovered –the company filed a federal lawsuit seeking to limit its financial exposure under the 1851 shipowners shield law.
