Woman found unconscious following crash in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - A woman was found injured and unconscious following a crash in Santa Barbara late Thursday morning.

Santa Barbara City Fire and AMR responded to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on the 1500 block of De La Vina on Thursday afternoon.

Around 11:25 a.m., a silver Volvo wagon drove over a curb, ran into a sign and crashed into a pine tree.

The female driver was found unconscious inside the vehicle.

Neighbors in the area began CPR procedures.

AMR and fire arrived and continued CPR procedures on the woman.

The incident is still under investigation.
