Santa Barbara California Highway Patrol prepares for holiday traffic

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Santa Barbara California Highway Patrol will talk about holiday traffic safety on Wednesday afternoon in Santa Barbara.

The meeting will take place in front of the CHP office in Santa Barbara.

The press conference will focus on traffic safety issues including driving under the influence, seat belts, distracted driving and speed.

Representatives from 19th District Senator Hannah-Beth Jackson's office, Congressman Salud Carbajal office and the 37th District Assemblymember Monique Limon's office will be in attendance.

Elected officials will be joined with representatives from the District Attorney's office, CHP and allied law enforcement agencies in the area.
