Santa Barbara Police Department honors officer who died

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The Santa Barbara Police Foundation held a press conference Monday morning where a check was presented in honor of an officer who died.

The conference was held at the Santa Barbara Police Department for the At Ease program at 11 a.m.

During the event, the Santa Barbara Police Foundation and the family of a former officer presented a $100,000 check to the At Ease program.

The At Ease program offers support to first responders during times of need.

Officer David Anduri died in 2014 from a case of post-traumatic stress disorder related to his job.
