San Luis Obispo offering free parking during holiday season
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The City of San Luis Obispo is offering 12 days of free parking between Thanksgiving Day and New Year's Day.
The City Council established free parking to encourage economic activity downtown during the busy holiday season.
Free parking is available in all three city parking structures on the following dates:
- Sunday, Dec. 10
- Sunday, Dec. 17
- Christmas Eve, Dec. 24
- Christmas Day, Dec. 25
- Day after Christmas, Dec. 26
- New Year’s Eve, Dec. 31
- New Year’s Day, Jan. 1
The three public parking structures are located at 842 Palm Street, 919 Palm Street, and 871 Marsh Street.
