SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - San Luis Obispo County reported 50 new coronavirus cases from over the weekend and three new cases on Monday. There are currently 3,597 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in San Luis Obispo County, including 29 deaths.
The first death in the county was announced Saturday, April 4.
The majority of these deaths are linked to outbreaks at congregate living facilities.

229 people are recovering at home and 6 people are hospitalized, 2 of whom are currently in the ICU. 3,331 people are considered recovered.
292 of these total cases are inmates at the California Men's Colony.
More than 61,000 tests have been conducted between the County Public Health Department and a number of private labs.
