Three-vehicle crash near Avila Beach snarls traffic
SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - A three-vehicle crash near Avila Beach caused traffic to backup in the southbound lane of Highway 101 Monday evening.
California Highway Patrol responded to the crash around 5:24 p.m.
The crash happened in the center divider of Highway 101 southbound just south of Avila Bay Drive.
There were no injuries, according to Cal Fire.
According to the CHP online incident log, a silver Toyota minivan had major front end damage and a black Ford Escape had moderate rear-end damage.
Cal Fire said both lanes were cleared at 5:48 p.m.
