Six people involved in rollover crash near Santa Maria, five hospitalized all underage

SANTA MARIA, Calif. — According to Santa Barbara Fire Department, a rollover crash Friday night near Santa Maria allegedly involved five people underage.

Santa Barbara County's FD public information officer Scott Safechuck says five people in the white 2015 Honda Civic were "under the age of 18."

The county fire department says six people were inside the car.

The rollover crash happened at approximately 7:53 p.m on the 700 block of Tepusquet Road.

All five minors were taken to Marian Medical Center by a ground ambulance for treatment. One person, however, refused treatment.

Safechuck says, Santa Barbara County's FD was assisted by the Santa Maria Fire Department.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
