Firefighters called to barn fire near Atascadero

ATASCADERO -- Calif.

CALFIRE, San Luis Obispo County Fire and Atascadero Fire were called to a barn on fire Friday night.

The fire broke out in the 5900 block of Rocky Canyon road east of Atasadero. CALFIRE posted about the fire on Twitter at 9:35 p.m.

CALFIRE SLO said there was no threat to nearby brush.

Fire crews stayed in the area hours after the fire broke out to make sure all the hot spots were out.
