SLO Sheriff’s office searching for suspected child molester

SAN LUIS OBISPO COUNTY, Calif. - The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help finding a man who is facing multiple charges of child molestation.

They're looking for 38-year-old David Paul Wilson.

Investigators said they received multiple reports of Wilson committing sexual assaults against minors.

Wilson is facing charges for sexual acts with a child under the age of 10, aggravated sexual assault of a minor, and lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. Deputies say the abuse happened over the span of several years

Wilson has lived in San Luis Obispo, the Five Cities area, Nipomo, Santa Maria and San Jose, the sheriff's office said.

Detectives are concerned there may be additional victims.
