SANTA MARIA, Calif. – The trial of a Goleta woman accused of crashing an Amtrak bus while under the influence of meth was delayed another month.

51-year-old Laura Mae Gish appeared in a Santa Maria courtroom on Wednesday.

The California Highway Patrol arrested Gish in January 2019 after the bus she was driving crashed on the 101 freeway near Los Alamos.

25 passengers were onboard when it slammed into a tree. Multiple people were hurt.

The trial was originally set for December before it moved to January.

Wednesday a judge again moved it to February 24th.
