Ventura police investigating Tuesday night shooting

VENTURA, Calif. - Ventura police are looking for the person who shot a man Tuesday night.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. on the 1000 block of Seaward Avenue near the Shores Inn.

Police say the man was shot multiple times. He was taken to the hospital for treatment and is expected to survive.

Investigators say it appears the shooting may have been drug and gang related.
