Pedestrian killed on Hwy 101 in Santa Barbara
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol says a pedestrian was hit and killed by a car on Highway 101 in Santa Barbara Tuesday night.
CHP says it happened just before 6 p.m. on Highway 101 southbound at Milpas. The person hit was crossing the freeway heading westbound when struck by a car. Investigators say multiple other cars hit this person after the initial impact. .
Authorities have not yet identified the victim.
No other information was immediately available.
