Police searching for hit-and-run driver in San Luis Obispo
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - The California Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run incident that happened Saturday afternoon.
It happened at 3:47 p.m, a 57-year-old of Los Osos motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on Turri Road from S. Bay Boulevard.
CHP said an unknown car attempted to make a left turn from the dirt shoulder, directly in front of the motorcyclist causing a traffic collision.
The car was described as a "charcoal gray" colored JEEP SUV.
CHP said evidence left at the scene suggest the car was a 2005 or 2006 JEEP Grand Cherokee.
The JEEP will have damage to the left rear bumper and it is missing the left rear taillight.
