Woman hit, seriously injured in hit-and-run crash in Santa Maria

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- Santa Maria Fire and Police were called to a vehicle vs pedestrian crash Monday night.

It happened around 7 p.m. near Broadway and Orchard Streets.

Santa Maria Fire said a woman was flown to Cottage hospital with serious injuries.

Santa Maria Police said the suspect's vehicle is described as a black four-door vehicle. They are still looking for the driver and vehicle.

Anyone with information should call the Santa Maria Police Department.
