Injured bicyclist rescued in San Luis Obispo

SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. - Cal Fire SLO, along with other agencies rescued an injured bicyclist at Johnson Ranch Open Space.

When crews arrived they found an biker with a broken leg. Their identity has not been released yet.

SLO City Fire medic's stabilized and treated the patient while fire crews prepared the patient for transport.

Due to difficult access, the patient was hoisted by @CHPAirOps to a ground ambulance. He was then taken to the Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for further treatment.

SLO City Fire responded to assist CAL FIRE SLO CHP Air also responded with a helicopter.
