LOMPOC, Calif. -- Santa Barbara Narcotics Detectives arrested a man during a search warrant serve in Lompoc on Wednesday.

Detectives arrested Dillon Spoor, 18, Santa Ynez for possession of a controlled substance for sales, possession of a firearm while addicted to narcotics, possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession of a firearm without a serial number and possession of marijuana for sales.

On Wednesday, Sheriff's Narcotics Detectives served a search warrant at a hotel on the 11000 block of North H Street.

Detectives were working on an ongoing investigation.

During the service, detectives made contact with Spoor and Moret Houston, 21, Santa Ynez.

When detectives made contact with Spoor, Spoor removed a gun from his waistband and tossed it onto the seat of a vehicle that he was standing near.

Houston was found to have cocaine in her pocket and was released at the scene with a citation.

Spoor was detained and after an up-close inspection, detectives determined that the gun was a replica.

Detectives search the hotel room and found Spoor to be in possession of cocaine and marijuana for sales as well as a loaded and unregistered functioning semi-automatic handgun.

This handgun found in the hotel room is different from the one that Spoor tossed.

Spoor was booked at the Santa Barbara County Jail.
