Possible power outages due to fire weather in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - Some Residents received a message today from the Santa Barbara County Office of Emergency. (OEM)

Southern California Edison (SCE) has notified the public that they are considering turning off power to some areas of southern Santa Barbara County on Monday, November 25 due to fire weather conditions.

Power has not yet been turned off for these areas. The outage may impact an unincorporated area between the cities of Goleta and Santa Barbara, starting from Paradise Road down Turnpike Road to More Mesa.

If you live or work in or near this area, you should make preparations for a possible multiple day power outage.
