Firefighters battle fire inside Domino’s Pizza in Santa Barbara

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Firefighter responded to a fire inside Domino's Pizza on Tuesday afternoon in Santa Barbara.

Fire officials responded to the structure fire after a bystander knocked on the door of nearby Fire Station 6 to report the fire.

Firefighters brought three engines and a ladder truck to 1808 Cliff Drive, a Domino's Pizza store.

Officials evacuated people in the Domino's store along with people from the next door building belonging to Mike Richardson Realtors.

Fire officials cut inspection holes on the roof of the Domino's building to identify the cause of the fire.

They found a fire within one of the walls of Domino's Pizza.

The realty business next door was not affected by the fire.

Fire officials say they were able to stop the fire, clean the business and cover up the holes in the roof ahead of the forecasted rain conditions.

The fire is currently under investigation.
