Vehicle versus child incident in Santa Maria

SANTA MARIA, Calif. -- Officials are responding to a vehicle versus child incident in Santa Maria.

The incident happened on the 800 block of West Barrett on Saturday evening.

Santa Maria Fire, Santa Maria Police Department and American Medical Response responded to the scene of the incident.

The patient was flown to Cottage Hospital by Cal Star.
