The Lompoc City Fire Department with help from Santa Barbara County knocked down a fully involved garage fire.

It was first reported at 7:15 p.m. in the 900 block of East Almond. The first crew reported a fully involved attached garage to a single story, single family home.

Crews responded to the fire quickly while another crew entered the home to hold the fire to the garage.

The Captain says all occupants were out of the home at the time of the fire. The fire was beginning to reach through the attic. A home to the West was also an exposure threat.

The fire was under control in just 15 minutes. One resident was displaced. No injuries were reported and no other structures were damaged.

The fire is under investigation, but is not deemed suspicious.
