1 person taken to the hospital after 4-car crash in Santa Maria

The Santa Maria Fire Department was called to a 4-car crash Friday night.

It happened at the intersection of Stowell and Broadway, according to Santa Maria Fire.

One person was taken to the hospital.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area.
