Two Central Coast hospitals unite under one new name
Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center in Templeton and Twin Cities Community Hospital are getting a new name. As of Tuesday, the two hospitals, as well as affiliated urgent care centers, primary and specialty care clinics, and outpatient laboratory and imaging centers across the Central Coast, will all be under the name “Tenet Health Central Coast.”
“Unifying our resources under the Tenet Health Central Coast brand signals to all of the communities we serve that we offer unique services in a variety of settings from Nipomo to the South to Cambria and Paso Robles in the North,” said Mark Lisa, Tenet Health Central Coast CEO. “Our primary goal is to provide seamless care and service between our hospitals and our clinics, imaging centers, and urgent care facilities, for the patients we treat every day. By doing all of this, we demonstrate that Tenet Health Central Coast is truly a community built on care.”
The new unified system will offer quality care from preventive and routine healthcare to highly specialized services and advanced treatments.
Over the next months, community members will see the Tenet Health Central Coast name on all of its facilities.
Both hospitals have received an “A” from The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade in every reporting period since it was created in 2012. Both are internationally recognized Baby-Friendly birth facilities and have earned the “LGBTQ Healthcare Equality Leader” designation from the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
