DOG RESCUE: A cute little Chihuahua rescued from a canal in Santa Maria

Santa Maria Fire Department rescued a small dog trapped in the canal on Stokes and Sugarbush.

When crews arrived, they found a small Chihuahua howling, wet, and dehydrated.

The dog was rescued and turned over to animal control.
