Vegetation fire near Topaz Solar Farm in California Valley reaches 6 acres
San Luis Obispo Fire Department responded to a wildland fire in the area of the Topaz Solar Farm in California Valley.
As of around 3:30 p.m. Sunday, forward spread of the fire has been stopped at 6 acres.
Crews are calling it the Topaz Fire since it began burning in near the Topaz Solar Farm.
Both ground and air resources assisted with knocking down the fire.
Units will remain on scene for another hour for clean up.
All aircrafts have been released back to their base.
