Realty company holds drive to benefit Lompoc animal shelter

A Lompoc area realty company invited community members for a drive aimed at benefiting the La Paws Adoption Center in Lompoc.

Coldwell Banker Select Realty is encouraging locals to donate new or gently used pet items to support animals at the Lompoc shelter.

Organizers said they’re pleased that so many around the community came to support the adoption center.

“It is going phenomenally well. The community has been generous with their donations. And there have been several adoptions that Coldwell Banker has been paying for. Our hope is to raise awareness about the shelter being here and of course to find homes for our animals,” said Stacy Silva, outreach coordinator of the Santa Barbara County Animal Services.

Organizers hope to continue building community partnerships to help the animals in Lompoc.
