Oxnard man arrested after woman is stabbed multiple times

An Oxnard man was arrested Friday in connection to a stabbing that left a woman seriously injured.

On Thursday, police responded to Subway at 645 South Ventura Rd. for a report of a woman who was stabbed multiple times. Police say a 38-year-old woman was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Investigators from the Violent Crimes Unit eventually identified 19-year-old Randy Magallon of Ventura as a suspect in the stabbing.

Magallon was contacted in the parking lot of the Ventura County Juvenile Justice Center on Friday and was arrested without incident.

He’s since been booked into the Ventura County Jail where he awaits charges for attempted murder.
