Car goes down 50-foot embankment in San Luis Obispo

A crash involving one car went off the road and down a steep embankment.

It happened off highway 46 in San Luis Obispo around 8 a.m. Sunday.

Search and rescue crews helped firefighters bring two of the victims up a 500-foot drop.

One of them had to be extricated from the car.
One lane was temporarily closed, but has since been reopened.
