Road closures in Paso Robles and Templeton for asphalt overlay

San Luis Obispo County Public Works began construction to repave various North County roads in the areas of Paso Robles and Templeton.

Construction began in September and are expected to be completed January 2020.

Traffic is subject to detours and will be reduced to one-way controlled traffic with flaggers. Lane closures should be expected on weekdays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Delays could be up to 10 minutes.

This is all part of the County’s Pavement Management Plan Five Year Paving List. These are roads that have seen deterioration to a point of needing new pavement altogether. Overall, 17-miles will be repaved.

CalPortland Construction of Santa Maria, CA has been awarded the contract for $4,822,239.35 to perform the work. The project is funded by County Road Maintenance Funds and the Senate Bill 1 Road Maintenance and Rehabilitation Account.
