Highway 101 ramp, lane closures planned next week on the South Coast

Drivers might come across some lane and ramp closures in Santa Barbara and Montecito next week.

Caltrans crews will be working in several spots on Highway 101 beginning Monday, September 30.

The right lane of northbound 101 will be closed Monday between Salinas Street and Milpas Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for landscape maintenance. The off-ramp at Milpas will also be closed.

On Tuesday, the northbound off-ramp at Cabrillo Street will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for landscaping and irrigation work.

The left lane of southbound 101 will be closed Wednesday between Micheltorena Street and Garden Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Crews will be removing dead palms in the center median.

The right lane of southbound 101 will be closed Thursday between Olive Mill Road and Los Patos Way from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for tree work. If necessary, there might be additional work in that area Friday.
