Dozens of community members participated in a climate strike rally outside City Hall on Friday evening.

This event was organized by the organization ” Food and Water Watch. ”

Participants said climate change is the biggest threat to food, water, and community safety.

The group said they’re also concerned about drilling at Cat Canyon and how that could impact the water supply.

Tonight’s rally will include speakers and a march along Broadway and Cooke Street tonight.

Santa Barbara County Supervisor Joan Hartman and a staff member from Rep. Salud Carbajal’s office are set to speak.
