Holograms bring Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly back to life in theater full of fans
The Rock ‘N’ Roll Dream Tour brought Roy Orbison and Buddy Holly back to life for a couple of hours thanks to hologram technology.
The show at the Granada Theatre in Santa Barbara did not disappoint.
A live band played as the hologram of Orbison rose from the stage on Thursday night.
Buddy Holly took the stage in the same way after intermission.
Sound from concerts of the late performers were used by Base Hologram to create the effect.
Families of the singers okayed the production.
The show heads to Beverly Hills on Friday and Bakersfield this weekend.
