Elks Lodge hosts law Enforcement appreciation dinner
Law enforcement officers and other community members gathered for an appreciation dinner in Santa Maria Wednesday night.
The dinner gives the Elks community a chance to celebrate and honor local law enforcement from agencies around Santa Barbara County and Santa Maria.
The Elks Lodge’s leader Tony Campas says, ” We do this every year it’s a pretty important event to us because we enjoy hosting it for the officers, because they’re out there putting their lives at stake for us and that’s why we do it. Of course, they deserve it..”
This is the 48th annual law enforcement appreciation dinner.
