Stabbing victim arrives at Santa Barbara hospital with multiple wounds

A 24-year-old man is recovering from multiple stab wounds he suffered in an attack Sunday night on the Santa Barbara Eastside.

Police confirmed a report about the crime that was phoned into our newsroom.

The incident took place at 8:45 p.m. at Milpas and Cota Street. Police say numerous people were involved, but no suspects have been arrested.

The victim arrived at Cottage Hospital about an hour later with several serious wounds. It is not known how he was transported there.

His injuries were serious but not life-threatening.

No other details have been made available at this time.
