More juvenile victims come forward in sex crimes case against Buellton man
More alleged victims of a Buellton man suspected of committing sex crimes against children are coming out to tell their story.
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office announced on Monday that additional juvenile victims have been identified in the case against Gregory Scott Ray.
Some of the victims are local but some live out of the area and sheriff’s officials say more outside of Santa Barbara County may be out there.
Ray is accused of committing sex crimes against children while working as a consultant at Santa Ynez Valley High School District.
Ray traveled throughout California while working as an independent contractor and sales consultant for Friesens LL, a yearbook publishing company. He consulted at school campuses throughout San Jose and Los Angeles County and may have attended yearbooks camps and conferences.
Ray was scheduled to appear in Santa Maria Superior Court on Monday. He has pleaded not guilty to his charges. His bail is set at $2 million.
