Juvenile detained with knife at La Cumbre Junior High School

A juvenile was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon after he was found to be in possession of a knife on a school campus.

The call went out at around noon and police responded shortly afterwards to La Cumbre Junior High School at 2255 Modoc Rd.

The male juvenile was taken into custody without incident and the school was ruled to be safe.
