Art Comes Alive at annual Channel Islands Maritime Museum event

The Channel Islands Maritime Museum opened its doors for the 5th Annual Art Comes Alive event on Saturday.

Dozens of actors dressed up to portray historic maritime characters. They stood by maritime paintings and other works of art that represent their story.

Visitors had a chance to talk to them and play a maritime mystery game.

The show continues from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday at the museum on Bluefin Circle in Oxnard’s Channel Islands Harbor..
