Free bike clinics and movie screening coming to Santa Maria public library
The City of Santa Maria Public Library will soon be hosting free bike clinics through a new program called, Bike Kitchen, according to city officials.
On Monday, Feb. 25 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. the movie, Premium Rush, (trailer below) will be shown in Shepard Hall to kick off the new program.
The Bike Kitchen program will take place monthly from March through August 2019. It will offer free bike clinics where a representative from Bici Centro Santa Maria will come in and help participants learn how to repair a bicycle on their own. Tools and refreshments will be provided.
The city library is located at 421 South McClelland Street and is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
