SUV crashes into Santa Maria motel

Santa Maria police and firefighters responded to a Santa Maria hotel Thursday evening after a vehicle slammed into a motel.

At around 6 p.m., a gray Honda SUV crashed into the Colonial Motel at 1866 S. Broadway.

According to the Santa Maria Fire Department, there were no injuries but traffic in the area is backed up.
