Fatal head-on crash kills Oxnard man
Update
An early morning crash has left an Oxnard man dead and another driver with minor injuries.
At around 6:20 am the driver of a 1991 Nissan pickup was driving westbound on State Route 34 when his vehicle drifted into oncoming traffic slamming into a Ford F-250.
The driver of the Nissan died at the scene. The driver of the Ford was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver who lost his life is a 65-year-old man from Oxnard, his identity is not being released as authorities notify next of kin. The driver who suffered minor injuries is a 27-year-old man also of Oxnard.

The California Highway Patrol has reported a fatal head-on crash in Camarillo Monday morning.
According to CHP’s log, the crash was reported at 6:20 at State Route 34 and East Pleasant Valley Road. Several lanes are shut down following the accident.
It is unclear how many casualties were reported or if anyone else was injured.
No other information is available. We have a crew headed to the scene now.
