Resolutions starting with good will for the new year

There’s been no shortage of positive messages when it comes to looking ahead to 2019 and the resolutions that are being made. For many it starts with good will.

“When you are so busy being grateful, you don’t have time to complain, right.?” said Collette Slattery in Santa Barbara. “Wherever you travel just smile and talk to people and show love and compassion no matter what’s going on.”

There’s been no shortage of positive messages when it comes to looking ahead to 2019 and the resolutions that are being made. For many it starts with good will.

At mid day balloons were falling at the MOXI museum in what was called the Noon-Years Eve celebration.
Parents, relatives and children were there sharing the countdown and the moment to remember as they talked about their family bonding in the year ahead.

Daksha Singh said “I think we get so caught up with every day life. this year try to have more fun, be silly relax.”

A visitor from the mid west, John Austin was with family members and said, “I am going to see the grand children more often.”

Some children even put in a few words

Amaya Seaton said she wants to “learn how to ready better.”

When it comes to making a statement about her future, Melina de la Rocha was with her father when she said “We can probably change the world a little.”
