Fire burns Goleta apartment unit
A unit at the Oasis Apartments in Goleta was seriously damaged by fire Friday night.
Santa Barbara County firefighters were on the scene at the complex at 78 Magnolia Avenue, which is south of Highway 101 and East of Fairview.
There are no reports of injuries, but Apartment F was burned so badly it was possible to see through the unit from the front window through the back, to buildings behind it.
Firefighters inspected other units and have determined those residents can go back inside. The people who lived in Unit F will not be as fortunate.
Investigators have not yet shared if they know the cause of the fire.
