Vehicle stopped on Cold Springs Bridge leads to 4-car accident
On Christmas Eve as travelers were trying to finish holiday shopping, traffic came to a standstill on Highway 154 because of a 4-vehicle accident on the Cold Springs bridge.
Reports from the scene indicate a driver stopped on the bridge, attempting to help someone who appeared to be considering suicide. Cold Springs has been the site of many an attempt, leading to higher fencing to make it difficult for people to crawl up and over.
The vehicle that stopped was not damaged, but four other vehicles were. At least two people were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
