Drug bust nets $300K worth of ecstasy and other narcotics

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man accused of selling drugs to Ventura County residents.

Narcotics detectives finished an investigation into Nicholas Young, 24, from Woodland Hills on December 21, 2018. Police say Young had two ounces of ecstasy or MDMA and LSD on him when detectives arrested him at a Los Angeles shopping mall.

Young was arrested and transported to Ventura County.

Detectives then searched Young’s Woodland Hills home and found more drugs. According to the police, report detectives collected 7.6 pounds of ecstasy worth upwards of $344,000. They also found a large amount of LSD, ketamine, psilocybin, drug paraphernalia and money believed to be from drug sales.

Young has been charged with drug-related offenses and bail was set at $250,000.00.
